1950s Brass and Glass CandleHolder by Gunnar Ander for Ystad Metall1950s, Sweden. This candle holder features violet glass, a brass frame, and woven cane accents. Designed by Gunnar Ander (19272002), a renowned Swedish industrial designer known for his contributions to Ystad Metall, a leading mid century Swedish lighting company. Ander also created designs for Svenskt Tenn, Boda Nova, and Gense, and received the Swedish Royal Medal for Merit in 1987. The piece is in good condition with minor wear to the cane weaving.
